The Viera Studio for the Performing Arts Policies and Procedures

Introduction: The Directors and Staff would like to welcome you to The Viera Studio for the Performing Arts for the 2022-2023 performing arts season under the direction of Monica Toro Lisciandro. We have created these policies and procedures to give our parents and students a clear understanding of our mutual commitments and responsibilities to the Viera Studio for the Performing Arts. Our performing arts program serves beginning through advanced students starting at age 3. We believe that our success comes as a result of providing solid training and quality service, along with an underlying belief in the strength of our organization. The teaching staff at The Viera Studio for the Performing Arts are either professionally trained or have college degrees in theatre. Parents are responsible for being aware of all dates, schedule changes, holiday schedule and performance information. All information will be provided by email, and will be available at the front counter if you do not have an email account.

Registration: Parents must fill out the Registration form, and fill-out and sign the Medical, Dress Code, and Photograph Release forms before starting class.

Tuition: Tuition is due at the 1st class of the month. We strongly encourage you to use our on-line credit card payment system as it helps you avoid late fees. A $15.00 late fee will be added to your account if tuition is not paid by the second class of the month. There will be a $30.00 service fee if a check is returned. The Studio reserves the right to require payment by credit card if a check is returned or the account is repeatedly overdue. Accounts more that 60 days in arrears will cause that student(s) to be dismissed from the studio, unless acceptable arrangements are made with the Director.

Withdrawal from Class: Please supply two weeks notice prior to withdrawing from class. Our students are a team, especially when rehearsing for a show, and it is imperative that we know if a student will not be returning.

Refund: Tuition will be charged up until the two weeks conclude and tuition will not be refunded if two week notice of cancellation has not been given.

Registration Fee: The registration fee is non-refundable.

Attendance: All students are expected to attend their scheduled classes. If you are going to be absent from class please let the Director or the teacher of the class know of your absence.
